At 11:04 a.m. on Sunday, the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA released a heat advisory in effect until Thursday at 8 p.m. The advisory is for San Luis Obispo County Inland Central Coast, Santa Lucia Mountains, Southern Salinas Valley, San Luis Obispo County Interior Valleys, San Luis Obispo County Mountains, Santa Barbara County Inland Central Coast and Santa Ynez Valley.
The NWS informs, “Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures around 90 degrees near the coast to 103 inland.”

“Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses,” says the NWS.
This advisory is in effect until Thursday at 8 p.m.
Ways to stay safe in the heat according to the NWS
- Stay hydrated: Remember to drink plenty of fluids.

- Look out for others: Stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
