A properly color-blocked Air Jordan 6 is special. The Air Jordan 6 UNC carries the same magic as the Carmine and the Oreo. It’s the ultimate in two-tone sneaker flow. While I’d still make it the second-best UNC colorway behind the AJ 13 PE, it’s a fresh pair that’ll rock well with any UNC jersey. Let’s talk sneakers.

Where Can You Buy the Air Jordan 6 ‘UNC’?
The Air Jordan 6 ‘UNC’ (CT8529-410) released on March 5, 2022, and it’s now a resale pickup on platforms such as StockX and GOAT.
Why Does the Air Jordan 6 ‘UNC’ Stand Out?
The upper pairs University Blue with white leather overlays, and navy hits land on the heel clip, liner, lace locks and midsole paint. The tongue borrows from the Air Jordan 7, the outsole is white and icy translucent, and a PE-style garment tag nods to the shoe’s team roots. Even the insoles carry a geometric print.
The AJ6 is the shoe Michael Jordan wore while winning his first championship in 1991, and his North Carolina roots make Carolina Blue a natural fit for the silhouette. It’s one of several UNC-inspired general releases, alongside the Air Jordan 5 ‘UNC’ from 2023 and the 2021 Air Jordan 4 ‘University Blue.’ House of Heat lists the pair at 58 degrees on its heat meter.
Should You Buy the Air Jordan 6 ‘UNC’?
The one thing the AJ6 UNC has over the AJ13 PE is availability and affordability. This one goes well under retail in most sizes.

I was pleased to see my size 14 at $180. A size 7.5 is just $129. That’s a steal.
