A house for up for sale in Merced is fit for a Greek god. Or at least for someone who really likes Greek architecture.

The home is gaining a lot of attention online thanks to is unique exterior design and rather large price tag.

The house, at 2021 W St., resembles a Greek temple, and the two-bedroom, two-bathroom home is listed at $1.95 million.

The home is 2,609 square feet, making the price $747 per square feet, well above the median price of $254 per square feet in Merced, according to Redfin.com.

The listing on Zillow.com, which was put up five days ago, already has more than 5,000 views.

The listing says the home “offers a rare opportunity to own one of the area’s most distinctive hideaways with iconic architectural presence.”

The house, built in 1952, sits on a 15,762-square-foot lot that borders Bear Creek, the listing says. It is lined by Mediterranean cypress trees.
