Street improvements are coming to more Rancho Cordova neighborhoods this summer.
The city’s South White Rock and Stone Creek neighborhoods will see surface treatments to improve their residential streets.

The project includes pavement repairs, surface treatments, updated striping on the road and updated bike lane markings.

The updates are “safety enhancements designed to improve roadway conditions and extend the life of neighborhood streets,” according to a post from the city.

Construction is scheduled to begin this summer, and the project is expected to cost $2.5 million, according to city spokesperson Samantha Mott.
Other Rancho Cordova areas, like the Countryside neighborhood, have also seen street improvements in recent months. Mather Field Road, north of the westbound Highway 50 on-ramp, also saw upgrades to its infrastructure.
