Golden State enters Tuesday’s game with a 5-3 record after losing at home to the Las Vegas Aces Sunday afternoon.

In Sunday’s loss to the Aces, Gabby Williams led the way for the Valkyries as she recorded 20 points and four rebounds while Janelle Salaun added 16 points and four rebounds of her own off the bench.

The Valkyries will try to bounce back Tuesday as they face off against the Fire in a tough home matchup.

Portland enters Tuesday’s contest with a 6-4 record after defeating the Indiana Fever at home Saturday night.

Emily Engstler led the way for the Fire in Saturday’s victory as she ended the game with 16 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals while Carla Leite recorded 18 points and 12 assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Tuesday’s matchup, one may be without one of their star players due to injury.

Golden State has listed Burton as questionable due to a right quad contusion that she suffered in Sunday’s loss and she is in danger of missing her first game of the season.
