This local doughnut mini-chain has just opened in Roseville. Which one is it?

Donuts & Coffey, which has existing locations on Folsom Blvd. in East Sacramento and on Truxel Rd. in South Natomas, opened its latest store today, according to a post on the business’s social media.

The new shop is at 1780 Pleasant Grove Blvd. in Roseville, in the West Roseville Marketplace shopping center. This is its third location.

The shop has an extensive offering of traditional cake and rised doughnuts, as well as mochi doughnuts and kronuts. It also offers smoothies, fruit teas, and bubble teas for people who are not coffee drinkers.

Donuts & Coffey made waves in The Bee’s newsroom when we rounded up the notable doughnut shops of the Sacramento region. Service journalism reporter Camila Pedrosa appreciated the “almost sourdoughy, fermented flavor” of the glazed yeast doughnut. And California political editor Lauren Chapman called the offerings the “platonic ideal of a doughnut.”
