Another small earthquake rattles SLO County. Did you feel it?

A 2.7-magnitude earthquake shook a portion of rural San Luis Obispo County on Monday evening.

According to the United States Geological Survey, the quake originated roughly 10.5 miles southeast of Shandon around 6:05 p.m. it was reported at a depth of about 19 miles.

As of 6:16 p.m., no reports had been filed with the USGS for people who had felt the earthquake.

This is at least the fourth small earthquake to shake the area this month. Most recently, a 2.6-magnitude hit southwest of Atascadero on Aug. 15.
