Baby Gronk, a middle school football player whose real name is Madden San Miguel, has been all over everyone’s social media timelines for several years now.

The middle school football player, who is in the 8th grade, has been going viral on X, Instagram and YouTube for several years. His dad is a bit of a helicopter parent, it seems, constantly touting his son’s ability and even telling him what to say during interviews. It’s all a bit much.
However, will this actually result in Baby Gronk becoming a top college football recruit and NFL hopeful? It”s possible.
On Saturday, the football player known as Baby Gronk made his first official recruiting visit. He was seen at Georgia’s game, sitting with the other recruits. The Bulldogs appear to have interest in him.
“Eighth-grade football star Madden “Baby Gronk” San Miguel was in attendance for the Georgia Bulldogs’ home game against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers on Saturday. Per Olivia Sayer of Dawgs247, San Miguel was on hand alongside other potential recruits,” Bleacher Report shared.

“Nicknamed “Baby Gronk” due to his parallels to legendary NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski, San Miguel said he recently went off for 250 yards and four touchdowns in his eighth-grade football debut.”
There’s still a long way to go before Baby Gronk becomes an actual top college football recruit, as a lot can change between eighth grade and the time you go to college.
But, for now, it seems like Baby Gronk is at least a player of interest for some major college football programs across the country.
The top middle school football player is already getting some serious interest from the University of Georgia, one of the top programs in the country. If the Bulldogs are interested, other top college football programs are likely to follow.
