After a disappointing 17-12 loss to the New York Jets in Week 5, the Cleveland Browns were knocked out of first place in the AFC North Division. But, in the NFL, you needn’t wait long for redemption, and the Browns will welcome the new first-place team, the Baltimore Ravens, to Huntington Bank Field in Week 6 at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.

The biggest question for the Ravens is whether or not quarterback Lamar Jackson (ankle) will be able to play in Sunday’s showdown on the shores of Lake Erie. He missed the Week 5 game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football.
Browns Defense is Banged up Heading Into Week 6
Jackson missed the Week 5 game due to an ankle injury, so former Browns quarterback Snoop Huntley made the start against the Falcons, and he engineered the slight upset of running Bijan Robinson and Atlanta in overtime. So, will Jackson be able to go, and how do the Browns stack up?
Jackson did not practice Wednesday for the Ravens, and it remains to be seen whether he’ll be able to shake off the injury to face former offensive coordinator Todd Monken, now the first-year head coach of the Browns.

Cleveland has allowed 1,199 passing yards per game with 10 touchdowns through the air and four interceptions. The Browns have limited teams to 59.4% completion percentage, which is the fourth-best mark in the NFL. The Browns have allowed 17 pass plays of 20+ yards, and three pass plays of 40+ yards, too. The Cleveland pass rush has 16 sacks, or 3.2 sacks per game, ranked sixth in the NFL.
There is more than pass defense needed when trying to corral Jackson, though, as he can also be an effective runner. Cleveland has allowed just one rushing touchdown all season, with Jets running back Braelon Allen earning that honor in Week 5. They’ve allowed 4.5 yards per carry, and 587 yards, which is 18th in the NFL.
The Browns have several key members of the defense dealing with injuries, as defensive end Derek Barnett (ankle), defensive tackle Maliek Collins (foot), defensive tackle Mason Graham (knee, ankle), defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. (ankle) and linebacker Carson Schwesinger (ankle) were each unable to practice Wednesday, while safety Grant Delpit (shoulder, knee) was a limited participant. Cleveland needs a majority of those guys to get healthy in a hurry, regardless if Jackson plays or not.
