The Vikings offense continued to struggle as the Vikings held a 15-10 lead over the winless Dolphins late in the fourth quarter. Their offensive line struggled against a Miami defensive front that was playing its best game against the Minnesota offensive line.
The Dolphins defensive front had not registered a sack going into this game. However, they sacked QB Kyler Murray on the first play of the game and added three more as the game moved along. The Vikings offense did not show any kind of cohesiveness until the fourth quarter. At that point, Murray was able to make a connection with tight end T.J. Hockenson.

The Vikings played the majority of the game without OLT Christian Darrisaw. He left the game in the second quarter after absorbing a collision with OG Will Fries. Darrisaw was on the ground for several minutes before he was able to walk to the sidelines.
The Vikings reported that Darrisaw was being evaluated for a concussion and his return is questionable. Backup Rayn Van Demark took over for Darrisaw after the injury.
