Dallas running back Javonte Williams finished with a game-high three rushing touchdowns, but the name of the game was the efficient quarterback play. Dak Prescott completed 32 of 45 passes for 335 yards and a touchdown, while Stroud completed 21 of 31 passes for 347 yards and two touchdowns. The stars were out for both teams, as Houston wide receiver Nico Collins returned strong from injury, recording seven catches for 118 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
For the Cowboys, Lamb was fantastic, as the three-time All-Pro finished the game with a 2026 NFL season-high 17 receptions for 189 yards and a touchdown. Entering the game, the 27-year-old was sixth in the league with 20 receptions, fourth with 309 receiving yards and tied for fourth with three touchdown catches. On Sunday, against the Texans, the 6-foot-2 wide receiver cemented himself in Cowboys’ franchise history.
During the game, once Lamb caught his 10th pass of the game, Dallas went to social media to put the achievement in context. The 10-catch game was his 13th of his Cowboys career, setting the all-time franchise record. The former No. 17 overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft also passed wide receiver Drew Pearson and his 7,822 receiving yards as a Cowboy for fourth most in franchise history.
Tight end Jason Witten holds the record with 12,977 yards, with Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin in second with 11,904. Lamb is now at 7,914 receiving yards, 74 yards behind Tony Hill’s 7,988.
