Carton had commented on rumors that Prescott had cheated on Ramos, leading to their breakup. The Cowboys quarterback and his fiancee called off their wedding earlier this year. Ramos addressed speculation surrounding their relationship and her physical state in an Instagram comment earlier this fall.

“Hi everyone. Not pregnant!! Just very thick, eating again, and happier than I’ve been in a long time! That’s usually what happens when you aren’t getting cheated on repeatedly and finally leave a situation that makes you unhappy. Hard for most of you money obsessed people to believe, I know. I suggest all of you find something else to do with your free time because being this concerned with what I’m up to and if I’m pregnant is high key very weird and I’m pretty sure most of you need therapy,” she wrote on Instagram.

“PS money doesn’t buy happiness and y’all should stop obsessing over it. God bless!”

Carton, a longtime sports media personality who has worked in New York and for Fox Sports 1, and now Outkick, commented on the speculation surrounding Prescott and his ex-fiancee in an Instagram video.

“If I was a thick bartender and I saw a way into luxury for life, I would’ve slept with Dak Prescott too,” he said.

Sarah Jane Ramos, though, is not happy with what was said in Carton’s video.

“Literally nothing you’re saying or posting is true and you could be sued for defamation so I would take this down…,” she threatened in an Instagram comment.

Dak Prescott remains mostly silent on the breakup

Dak Prescott, who will play Thursday night against Tampa Bay, has said that life is about facing adversity.

“I’m great, I’m blessed. As I said, I’m a follower of Christ,” Dak said. “And just having the faith that I do, it’s always been something, a superpower in a sense, that I’ve had is my faith. So, it won’t change. I won’t even say it gets shaken just because things happen, things don’t necessarily go my way or the way that I thought they would, doesn’t necessarily affect the way that I wake up each morning. I’m grateful my feet hit the ground. I’m grateful to breathe the air that I do and to be where I’m at.

“I’ve got too many blessings to look at my trials. And I’m just super thankful to that opportunity that I have to be where I am and to have two amazing daughters, to be able to play the quarterback position for this organization and still inspire so many. Adversity is going to come. It’s inevitable. And if you know how to respond to it, you can respond to it consistently, you can get over it.”

The Cowboys and the Bucs will kick off at 8:15 p.m. E.T. on Thursday night. The game will air on Amazon Prime.
