The Cowboys fell to the Giants, 28-20, on Sunday night. Aubrey was the least of Dallas’ problems. However, he did miss a key extra point in the second half (to be fair, the extra point was from nearly 50 yards, following a taunting penalty on Javonte Williams). And, while the extra point was a long one, it’s the kind of kick that Aubrey had been automatic at.

Aubrey missed six field goals last season and one extra point. Toward the end of the season, he had some shaky misses.

Is it something to worry about now?

Cowboys fans are officially worried that he’s getting the yips.

“Do you guys remember when Dan Bailey was they most accurate kicker in NFL history and then just randomly one day started missing every kick,” one Cowboys fan pointed out.

“It’s happening to Brandon Aubrey isn’t it.”

Cowboys fans worried Aubrey is losing his accuracy

Dallas Cowboys fans are worried that he’s losing his accuracy.

“It started when his kicks were not right down the middle,” one fan wrote.

“Yes, you could see the yips setting in last season. Its over man,” one fan added.

“As a giants fan, I was surprised to see him be so inaccurate. Even the makes were shaky. What happened to him since last year?” one fan added.

“Mike Vanderjagt was the most accurate kicker in NFL history until the Cowboys signed him to a huge free agent contract,” another fan pointed out.

Falloffs can happen quickly for kickers, as it’s such a precise and mental part of the game.

Hopefully for the Cowboys’ sake, it’s not going to happen to Aubrey.
