The closure is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. Friday and continue until 5 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29.

Crews will repave the eastbound I-80 overpass above Old Davis Road. The roadwork is part of the $200 million Yolo 80 Managed Lanes Project, funded by California’s Senate Bill 1, the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, and the Federal Highway Administration.
The speed limit in the freeway construction zone has been reduced to 55 mph, Caltrans said. The closure schedule could change because of weather, equipment or material availability or other unexpected events.
