The Dodgers offense finally broke out, as Andy Pages hit three home runs and four other players – Shohei Ohtani, Kyle Tucker, Dalton Rushing and Hyeseong Kim – had multi-hit games.

Unfortunately, right-handed pitcher Tyler Glasnow was forced to exit the game before throwing a pitch in the bottom of the second inning.

Glasnow was removed from the contest with low back pain that came about during his warm-up pitches. He provided an update on himself after the game.

“It’s like a spasm, it just kind of gives out from being tall, I guess,” Glasnow said. “It happens a couple times a year. It was just a warm-up pitch. and it gave out. I tried to throw another one, and it was just too hard to bend over. But it’s not too serious. I’ve had this a few times. Once it feels better, it feels better. I shouldn’t be too long. I’m not worried about it. I just hope I can come back sooner than later.”

Added Dave Roberts: “I think that, given it’s something that’s recurring, and then kind of looking at the history, it hasn’t been an IL situation. It’s been more of, we push him back a couple days, two, three days. I don’t expect it to be an IL situation. I don’t think he does either, and we’ll go from there.”

Before the game, the Dodgers optioned left-handed pitcher Jake Eder to Triple-A and activated right-hander Brock Stewart off the injured list.

Stewart made his season debut in the ninth inning on Wednesday, pitching a perfect inning with two strikeouts.

In other news, Kyle Tucker sent a message to the Astros fans who were booing him in his return to Houston as a member of the Dodgers.

Tucker spent the first seven years of his career with the Astros before being traded to the Chicago Cubs last year. Then, he joined the Dodgers this offseason.
