A structure fire that burned two homes on Spring Creek Way in Elk Grove is under control, according to a social media post on the Cosumnes Fire Department’s X account.

Units were dispatched to the area just after 4 p.m. on Monday. The battalion chief added a second alarm after fire crews reported two houses were involved in the fire.

A single-story and a two-story structure were involved in the fire, according to dispatch records.
