Hidden Dumpling House soft-opened a new location at 3005 Freeport Blvd. last month. The restaurant serves a variety of classic dim sum dishes, homemade dumplings, soup, noodles, fried rice, boba drinks, beer, and combination plates.
The first Hidden Dumpling House opened in 2022 in Elk Grove at 9635 E Stockton Blvd., according to the website. Its second location opened in midtown at 2801 P St., and with the Land Park opening, the business has now become a local chain.
“What started in Elk Grove and midtown has grown into something we could only dream of,” the restaurant owners wrote online. “…we’re beyond grateful for all the love and support along the way.”

Hidden Dumpling House is family-owned and was founded by Danni Kan, according to its social media page. Each location features indoor and outdoor seating and with its anime-illustrated corgi mascot, the restaurant is also dog-friendly.
The owners described the opening as a celebration of the “four amazing years of serving our community,” and wrote that its customers have been “part of (their restaurant’s) journey.”
“As we get settled into our new home, we appreciate your patience and support while our team gets up and running,” its owners wrote online. “We can’t wait to welcome you in, share great food, and make new memories together.”
