Elk Grove’s annual Fourth of July celebration is back, with fireworks and drones

A 200-drone light show and fireworks will headline Elk Grove’s annual Fourth of July celebration on Saturday, July 4, at Elk Grove Regional Park.

The 2026 Salute to the Red, White and Blue celebration honoring America’s 250th birthday begins at 5 p.m. July 4 at the park, 9950 Elk Grove Florin Road. The event will feature a silent disco, food trucks, vendors and family activities, along with an opening ceremony featuring the Elk Grove City Council and a concert by local band Pop Fiction, according to the city’s website

A drone show featuring 200 drones will precede the city’s fireworks display, according to the city’s website.

The event is free and open to the public. Parking is $15 per vehicle, and gates open at 7 a.m. for early arrivals looking to secure a spot. Vehicles may leave and re-enter the park until 3 p.m., according to the city’s website.

Sacramento Regional Transit will offer free shuttle service within Elk Grove to and from the event from 4:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., according to the city’s website.
