So, it’s no surprise that Hurts’ message to his team following their disappointing 24-20 home loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4 was brief and direct.

This is Hurts’ way of urging his team to bounce back from adversity, as they’ve done time and again under his stewardship. But doing so will be easier said than done for Philadelphia this time around given all of the on-field issues we’ve seen for the past couple of weeks.

The offensive line is a mess, the playcalling is suspect and the team is ravaged by injuries. That’s a lot to overcome this early in the season. But, Hurts is confident in their ability to do just that.

Jalen Hurts Remains Confident in Eagles Amid Rough Offensive Stretch

Hurts acknowledged that the Eagles are having some growing pains under new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion, but he expects the team to overcome them collectively.

“This is a team that is building and finding its way, and it’s obviously a work in progress. I have the utmost confidence in this team. I have the utmost confidence in this group,” Hurts said.

“We just have to remain endured, be persistent, and keep committing to one another, keep committing to the work of being a better group together. So, we just have to continue to grow and go on our journey.”

Eagles fans are hoping that “journey” leas to a bounce-back victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London next week.
