The Lincoln Planning Commission approved on Thursday the design review a new 14-home residential subdivision planned in the city’s Village 1 Specific Plan area, near Saint Joseph Catholic Church and Sun City Lincoln Hills.

The development, Heartland at Hidden Hills proposed by Fieldstone Communities, will be built east of the existing street Silverado Trail. Seven of the single-family homes will front Trailhead Lane, while the remaining seven will be located along Basecamp Court.
The subdivision will include four floor plans ranging from approximately 2,247 to 3,250 square feet. Three of the plans will be offered with Stratford modern, Santa Barbara and farmhouse architectural elevations, while a fourth plan will feature a single architectural style.
According to city planning staff, the mix of home designs and elevations is intended to create visual variety throughout the neighborhood while maintaining a cohesive streetscape that complements surrounding development.

The property is owned by Edward Johanson, with Aaron Ross-Swain representing Fieldstone Communities as the project applicant.
With the Planning Commission’s approval of the design review, the project can move forward through the city’s remaining permitting process before construction begins. A construction timeline has not yet been announced.
