The Nike Air Max 90 ‘Chicago Bears’ (IW1138-400) arrived at the perfect time. Chicago is hotter than fish grease after Sunday’s record-setting win over Carolina, and Bears fans have the right sneaker for the moment. Part of Nike’s NFL Rivalries collection, the $140 Air Max 90 sold out on Nike faster than your rich uncle after he got that good job and new house. Now resale is the play, and some asking prices have already doubled retail.

Where Can You Buy the Nike Air Max 90 ‘Chicago Bears’?
Nike is sold out, making StockX and GOAT the strongest options right now. As of September 15, 2026, StockX showed asks ranging from $181 to $399 across the visible men’s sizes. GOAT also had several sizes above $200, with some asking prices climbing beyond twice the original $140 retail price.
The size-to-size swings are significant. My size 14 was listed at $204 on StockX and $353 on GOAT, while size 10 sat at $198 and $194. Resale prices move constantly, but those gaps show why Bears fans should compare platforms before checking out.
What Makes the Nike Air Max 90 ‘Chicago Bears’ Stand Out?
Nike and the NFL got this one right. Marine dominates the layered upper, University Orange hits the molded eye stays, outsole and Air unit surround, and white adds enough contrast to keep everything clean. The GSH heel branding honoring George S. Halas gives Bears fans a detail with real franchise meaning.
More importantly, the team treatment never overpowers Tinker Hatfield’s Air Max 90. The mixed materials, overlapping panels, visible Air cushioning and Waffle outsole still drive the design. This looks like a legitimate Air Max first and Bears merchandise second.

Why Does the Nike Air Max 90 ‘Chicago Bears’ Matter?
The NFL Rivalries collection gives fans another lane for jerseys, hoodies and tees, but putting team identity onto an established sneaker hits differently. Bears fans get footwear tied directly to Chicago without sacrificing the status of one of Nike’s most recognizable Air Max silhouettes.

The timing helps, too. Chicago is coming off a 59-37 win over Carolina, and according to the Chicago Bears, the teams’ 96 combined points set an NFL record for a season opener. Bears fever is running hot, and demand for these kicks reflects it. Move over Dallas. Judging by resale, Chicago might be making its own case for America’s Team.
Should You Buy the Nike Air Max 90 ‘Chicago Bears’?
The Air Max 90 fits true to size for me, stays comfortable for all-day wear and remains one of those sneakers you can put on and go. At $140, this was an easy buy. Around $190 to $220, I can still understand the temptation for a Bears fan who missed retail.
Once we get into the $300 to $400 range, I’m out. I love the Bears and I love the Air Max 90, but my resale game has limits. Chicago pride is real. So is my bank account.
