This wasn’t how it was supposed to go. Rutgers (0-3) was supposed to tune up against UMass, pull off a win at Boston College, and then fight the good fight against USC before beating Howard (1-2) for a 3-1 start before diving deeper into the Big Ten season.
And now there’s random scuttlebutt about Brian Kelly possibly taking over once (and if) Greg Schiano gets fired. Nothing is a given now for the Scarlet Knights, but the season really will be over if they can’t beat the Bison.

Rutgers can’t stop turning the ball over. The offense has given it away a nation-most ten times so far, along with a brutal pick-six against USC.
Howard has enough of a pass rush to be a bother in the Rutgers backfield. Hurry the Scarlet Knight offense up, and the mistake will come.
