Paige Bueckers led the way for the Wings, finishing with 21 points, two rebounds and three assists. However, it was not enough as Dallas dropped their second straight game.
Gabby Williams led the home squad with 23 points, seven rebounds, three assists and four steals. Veronica Burton chipped in 16 points, while Janelle Salaun scored 10 points.
Tiffany Hayes also contributed 10 points for Golden State, including a buzzer-beating three-pointer at the end of the first quarter.
The 14-year veteran was dribbling the ball down the floor with a few seconds left. She then threw it up from the logo and made the shot, sending Chase Center into a frenzy.
Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry celebrated with the crowd after Hayes’ shot went in. The two-time NBA MVP was seen celebrating with his teammate, Gary Payton II.

Curry is no stranger to logo three-pointers. The four-time NBA champion is also usually seen supporting their WNBA counterparts.
The Valkyries’ success is even more impressive considering they are only in their second WNBA season. They’re currently second in the WNBA standings with a 25-9 record. They have already eclipsed their record from their first WNBA season.
With only a few games left, Golden State is looking like a legitimate contender for the WNBA title.
