A Chinese retailer, known for its anime-themed merchandise and stationery supplies, has opened a fourth location in the Sacramento area.

Miniso, 4424 Florin Rd., is in Southgate Plaza in south Sacramento. The store sells a variety of plushies, accessories, blind box collectibles, and cosmetics branded with characters from popular cartoons, video games, and toy franchises.
“At Miniso, fun is at the heart of everything we do,” the company wrote on its website. “From playful characters to everyday essentials with a creative twist, we design products that spark joy and inspire a sense of wonder in your daily life.”
There are more than 8,000 Miniso locations globally, with approximately 300 stores in the United States, according to the website. Miniso has stores at the following Sacramento-area locations:

Miniso is rolling out a collaboration with the anime “One Piece,” selling merchandise of the popular pirates, according to the store’s social media. The store just finished its merchandise partnership with the video game series, “Persona.”
The south Sacramento location was announced in August 2025, according to previous Sacramento Bee reporting. The new store occupies 7,631 square feet in the shopping center is anchored by Walmart.
Miniso was founded in 2013 and opened its first location in Guangzhou, China. The franchise came to the U.S. in 2017, primarily focusing its expansion on California, its webpage said.

Miniso in south Sacramento is open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
