Some early voting locations in California also offer same-day registration if you plan to cast your ballot before Nov. 3 but aren’t yet registered.

If you’re voting on Nov. 3, head to the polls before they close at 8 p.m. As long as you’re in line by then, you can vote.

To find a polling center in your area, visit the state’s website and search for locations open on Election Day. You can also search your county’s website.

Once you pick a polling station, you’ll have the opportunity to register to vote and cast a provisional ballot on the same day.
