Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are back on the road Tuesday. The star guard will be facing the Toronto Tempo just hours after the WNBA made another major announcement involving her.

Clark enters the matchup coming off a two-game stretch in which she averaged 25.7 points, 9.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds while shooting 50.9% from the field. She recorded 22 points and 10 assists against the New York Liberty, followed with 29 points and 10 assists against the Dallas Wings on Friday.
Clark has also started the new week in style, finishing with 26 points and nine assists in Indiana’s overtime win over Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream on Sunday.
On Tuesday, the WNBA officially named Clark the Eastern Conference Player of the Week, giving her the honor in consecutive weeks and the fourth time this season.
The award comes one day after the Associated Press also recognized Clark as its Player of the Week, marking her second AP honor this season.

Minnesota Lynx rookie Olivia Miles was named the Western Conference Player of the Week. Miles has continued to put together an impressive debut season while helping Minnesota remain among the WNBA’s top teams. She recently became the fastest rookie in league history to reach 500 points and 150 assists.

Clark will now look to extend Indiana’s four-game winning streak against Toronto on Tuesday. The Fever enter the game at 23-12 and hold the fourth best record in the WNBA standings.
