Sutter County sheriff’s deputies arrested Adrian Walters, 19, on Friday after responding to a domestic violence call at a Yuba City home. Deputies learned that Walters allegedly pushed a woman during an argument, then went to his vehicle to retrieve an AK-47-style rifle, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Walters then displayed the rifle and threatened the woman before leaving, sheriff’s officials said.
Deputies located Walters at another residence and took him into custody. They also recovered a second AK-47-style rifle from a child’s bedroom there. The firearm had no serial number and was equipped with a large-capacity magazine, deputies said.
