The 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup is in the books.

Spain topped Argentina, 1-0, in the FIFA Men’s World Cup Final on Sunday, July 19. Spain won the World Cup for the first time since 2010. Argentina, meanwhile, failed to win the World Cup for the second straight time, after winning it all in 2022.

The World Cup was a massive, rousing success in the United States. The U.S., along with Canada and Mexico, welcomed millions of fans across the globe, with everyone seemingly enjoying their time in the country.

But which countries had the most viewers during the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup?

Nielsen has released a list of the Top 10 most-watched countries at the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup. The United States, unsurprisingly, led the way.

The United States coming in at No. 1 overall is no surprise. Americans were obsessed with the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup, with tens of millions of fans tuning into every USMNT game. The U.S. ultimately fell short of its goal, losing to Belgium, 4-1, in the Round of 16.

Argentina, led by Lionel Messi, is an expected No. 2, too. The Argentina men’s national team had some epic games throughout the tournament and, led by Messi, everyone was tuning in to watch the greatest player of all-time.
