Benson Boone has announced a new date for his postponed concert at Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center.

The singer shared the update on his Instagram Story Saturday, revealing that the show, originally scheduled for Aug. 8, will now take place Sept. 9.
The announcement comes after Boone postponed the Sacramento performance less than an hour before it was scheduled to begin. The singer said he was experiencing problems with his voice and apologized to fans who had traveled to attend the concert.

“I know this is extremely disappointing, especially for everyone who traveled to be here,” Boone said in an Instagram Story announcing the postponement. “Trust me, I am disappointed too. I hate letting you guys down more than anything.”
Fans who purchased tickets for the Aug. 8 performance will be able to use those tickets for the rescheduled Sept. 9 show.
