West Sacramento detectives are seeking the public’s help in solving the 2024 death of an unhoused man near a homeless encampment, police said Thursday.

Police said Dennis Tapp, 46, was found with significant injuries by officers early Nov. 23, 2024, along railroad tracks behind 975 F St. in West Sacramento.
Tapp was taken to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, where he died later that day, the West Sacramento Police Department said.
