A national fragrance store, known for its discounted prices and trendy perfumes and colognes, is opening in Sacramento’s Arden Fair mall on Friday, Aug. 28.

Perfumania joins more than 150 stores at the shopping mall in Arden Arcade. Located on the second floor, Perfumania sells designer brands including Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs and Carolina Herrera, according to its website.
Nathan Spradlin, the mall’s marketing director, said the fragrance shop will sell a wide variety of fragrances at “a range of price points.” He also said fragrance stores have seen a broad trend among Sacramento shoppers.
“Perfumania was a strong fit for Arden Fair because it adds depth to a category that has broad appeal across our shopper base,” Spradlin said. “Fragrance is both a personal purchase and a popular gifting category.”
The fragrance chain has more than 100 stores nationwide including another Sacramento-area one at Folsom Premium Outlets on Folsom Boulevard.

Spradlin explained the newcomer is a part of the mall’s business expansion. Other new businesses include Taco Bell Cantina and Fabletics. Stores expected to open in the coming months include True Religion, Levi’s and Dick’s House of Sport.
“As we continue to evolve Arden Fair’s tenant mix, we’re focused on adding retailers that give guests more reasons to shop the center and more options when they’re here,” Spradlin said.
He added that the store will also complement the mall’s current selection of fragrance shops such as Royale Perfumes, Bath & Body Works and Sephora. The mall’s department stores also have fragrance counters.
Perfumania’s hours are still to be determined. Arden Fair mall is open Mondays to Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
