Cincinnati enters Sunday’s game looking to start the season off strong with a key victory at home as the Bengals try to bounce back after their disappointing season last year.
Tampa Bay enters Sunday’s contest looking to grab a key road victory to begin the season as the Buccaneers try to bounce back after narrowly missing the playoffs last season.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday afternoon’s matchup, each may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Buccaneers Injury Report: Will Emeka Egbuka, Rueben Bain Jr. Play?
The Buccaneers have four players listed on their injury report, though wide receiver Emeka Egbuka and outside linebacker Rueben Bain Jr. are not among them.
Of course, Egbuka had been dealing with a toe injury while Bain Jr. had been dealing with a shoulder injury, though both players are off the injury report and will play against the Bengals.
Tampa Bay has listed linebacker Christian Rozeboom as questionable due to a foot injury and he is in danger of missing the team’s season opener.
The Buccaneers have listed wide receiver Jalen McMillan as doubtful due to a knee injury and he is expected to be sidelined.

With McMillan likely to be sidelined, Egbuka, Chris Godwin and Tez Johnson could all be in line for increased roles.

Offensive tackle Justin Skule has also been listed as doubtful due to an oblique injury while running back Sean Tucker is doubtful with a hamstring injury. Both players are expected to miss Sunday’s game.
Bengals Injury Report: Will Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins Play?
The Bengals have only one player on their injury report as they have listed defensive end Shemar Stewart as doubtful due to a knee injury. He is expected to miss the Bengals’ season opener.

The good news for the Bengals is that wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase (knee) and Tee Higgins (foot) are off the injury report and will play after dealing with their respective injuries throughout the week.
Defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence is also off the injury report after sitting out Friday’s practice due to rest as he is in line to make his Bengals debut against the Buccaneers.
