Florida firm recalls 2 sexual enhancement supplements sold by Amazon, Walmart

Two supplements sold by a company run out of a Clermont, Florida, house have been recalled for having tadalafil and sildenafil, the ingredients that make male sexual enhancement drugs Cialis and Viagra work.

Those are prescription drugs. X10 Natural Enhancement Supplement and biQ-FEL are unregulated supplements sold on Amazon.com, Walmart.com and naturefuel.us, and the packaging doesn’t tell the user about sildenafil and tadalafil.

“FDA approval of Viagra and Cialis is restricted to use under the supervision of a licensed health care professional,” state’s the recall notices for each. “These undeclared ingredients may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs, such as nitroglycerin, and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels. People with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease often take nitrates.”

X10 is a liquid in a red and gold box with seven little packs shaped like lightning bolts. The packaging in Spanish describes it as a “bebida energizante.” or energy beverage. Recalled lots are Nos. F090824LN16, expiration August 2026; F170325LN19, expiration March 2027; and F300326LN28, expiration March 2028.

The other liquid, biQ-FEL, comes in 500 ml bottles. Lot Nos. biQ-f001-06-25, expiration date May 6, 2027, and biQ-003-01-26, expiration date Jan. 1, 2028, have been pulled.
