Oba Femi wants Roman Reigns, but some of the OTC’s fans have a problem with his latest challenge.

After defeating Bronson Reed at Money in the Bank, Femi appeared on WWE’s post-show, where Big E asked who was left for him to face. Fans in New Orleans immediately began chanting “OTC.”
Femi listened, raised the microphone and addressed the World Heavyweight Champion.
“Tribal Chief. No more running. It’s about that time.”
Oba Femi and Roman Reigns Fans Are Already Picking Sides
There’s some irony in Femi accusing Reigns of running.
Femi won the 2026 King of the Ring tournament, earning a World Championship match of his choosing at SummerSlam. He ultimately surrendered that opportunity to continue his rivalry with Brock Lesnar instead.
Some Roman fans haven’t forgotten.
The early back-and-forth online is relatively small, but it’s a preview of what could become one of WWE’s most interesting fan divides once Reigns and Femi actually stand across from each other on television.

Both men receive massive reactions. Eventually, fans will have to pick sides.
That’s been part of the story of Reigns’ 2026. CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Penta and, most recently, LA Knight have all brought their own passionate support into programs involving Reigns. Femi could create the biggest split yet.

I’m excited to see it.
WWE has pushed Femi so aggressively that Reigns no longer feels like a distant dream match. This is also Femi’s second direct public challenge to Reigns, following his callout after defeating Lesnar at WrestleMania 42.

The question is whether WWE can wait until WrestleMania 43.
Reigns retained against Knight at Money in the Bank, while Femi survived heavy interference to beat Reed. Both left New Orleans looking strong.
WrestleMania feels like the natural destination. At the rate Femi is rising, WWE may decide it’s “about that time” much sooner.
