“She Hit Her Head Little Too Hard Last Night”: Carmella Takes Aim at Tiffany Stratton After Money In the Bank

Tiffany Stratton made history by winning the Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase for a second time, but her claim that she was the first woman to achieve the feat did not go unchallenged. Carmella, who previously won the briefcase twice in 2017, responded with a playful correction that also referenced Stratton’s frightening fall during the match.

“The Buff Barbie” defeated Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Roxanne Perez, Lash Legend and Jacy Jayne at the October 10 event in New Orleans. However, one of the match’s most concerning moments came early, when Stratton climbed a ladder at ringside and attempted a Swanton Bomb onto the other competitors. The ladder shifted as she launched herself, leaving her short of the group below. She hit the floor hard, reaching for the back of her head as officials checked on her. Stratton continued competing and ultimately climbed the ladder to secure the briefcase.

During the post-show press conference, Tiffany Stratton claimed she had become the first-ever two-time Women’s Money in the Bank winner. Carmella took to X, sharing a WWE graphic that recognized her own achievement and offering a pointed response.

“I think she hit her head a little too hard last night 🫨 but congrats on the win, babe!👏🏼👏🏼.”

The joke referred to Stratton’s rough landing, but Carmella also made sure the record was clear. Stratton is the second woman to win the briefcase twice, following Carmella’s two victories in 2017.

Carmella Had Already Corrected Tiffany Stratton’s Money in the Bank Claim

This was not the first time Carmella had reminded Stratton about her place in the record books. In September, Stratton wondered on social media whether any woman had won the briefcase twice, asking, “What if I was a 2 time Money In The Bank winner? Has anyone ever done that before out of the females?”

Carmella responded with another jab: “damn.. somebody get these girls a peacock subscription 🤑.”

The remark pointed toward WWE programming available on Peacock in the United States and suggested Stratton could have checked the company’s history before raising the question.

Carmella won the inaugural Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match in 2017 with help from James Ellsworth. After WWE ordered a rematch following the controversial finish, she won again the following week, cementing her status as the first two-time winner. Stratton now joins her in that distinction, with her second briefcase giving her another guaranteed championship opportunity to cash in over the next 12 months.
