A boba tea shop, known for its all-pink interior and pink bunny mascot, has opened a new location in Arden Arcade.

Ume Tea has launched its third Sacramento-area location at 2924 Fulton Ave. The store serves milk tea, uiji green tea matcha, fruit tea, mango and yogurt drinks, and classic boba shop snacks, according to its website.
Ume Tea is located in the Town & Country Village Shopping Center near Trader Joe’s, Ross and T.J. Maxx.
The store is currently launching its “ultimate snack combo,” which includes curly fries, tornado potatoes, baby corn and chicken strips. The chain also just released its white peach drink series, serving a specialty white peach champaca with fresh cheese foam. Ume Tea also sells a “Surprise Cup,” a boba drink with a hidden toy plushie and collectible card in the cup.

The franchise was founded in 2019 in Silicon Valley, expanding across the San Francisco Bay Area throughout the early 2020s. The chain’s Davis location opened in 2022, marking the first in the greater Sacramento region.

“It’s all about U&Me — where handcrafted drinks, thoughtful design, and culture come together,” the chain’s website reads. “Today UMe is one of America’s favorite tea shops, known for its commitment to quality.”
Ume Tea’s other Sacramento location is in south Sacramento on 7235 Franklin Blvd. The franchise has 32 stores across the country, according to its website.

Ume Tea in Arden Arcade is open from noon to 8 p.m. daily.
