A SuperLotto Plus ticket sold in Southern California just missed the $49 million jackpot but still won big, lottery officials said.

The ticket matched five winning numbers but not the mega number in the drawing Wednesday, Aug. 27, to win $42,913, the California State Lottery said.
The winning numbers were 25, 26, 30, 37 and 38, with a mega number of 23, the site said.
Where was the lucky SuperLotto Plus ticket sold?
The lucky ticket was sold at Sunland Gas Food Mart at 8501 Sunland Blvd. in Sun Valley near Los Angeles, lottery officials said.
What is the SuperLotto Plus jackpot now?
The grand prize now rises to an estimated $50 million, with a cash value of about $21.6 million, for the next drawing Saturday, Aug. 29.
More than 120,000 other SuperLotto Plus tickets sold in California also won prizes ranging from $1 to $1,950, the lottery said.
The SuperLotto Plus jackpot was last won March 28, when a ticket purchased in Fremont won $10 million, The Sacramento Bee reported.

To score a jackpot in SuperLotto Plus, a player must match all five numbers and the mega number.

The odds of scoring the jackpot prize are 1 in 41,416,353.
Tickets can be bought for $1 on the day of the drawing.
Drawings take place Saturdays and Wednesdays after the draw entry closes at 7:45 p.m.

How do I claim my prize?
If you win, you can claim your prize of up to $599 at any participating lottery retailer, according to the California Lottery.
Prizes of $600 or higher can be collected at any California Lottery district office or by mail.
You have 180 days from the date of the winning drawing to claim your prize, lottery officials said.
