Which food court item is returning to Costco?
Costco is again offering churros, several years after the sweet treats disappeared from the warehouse retailer’s food court menu.
You can soon order a twisted churro at Costco stores nationwide, including those in California, according to shoppers.
The churros will be available for a limited time, with launch dates varying by warehouse.
“Look out for it at your local warehouse over the coming weeks as exact launch dates vary,” the company said.

How much does Costco churro cost?
The twisted churro costs $1.49, according to Costco.
The dessert is served warm and covered in cinnamon sugar.
According to Costco’s nutritional information, one churro contains 480 calories.
Costco fans react to sweet treat’s return
Costco fans on Instagram were quick to celebrate the return of the popular food court dessert— and some made it clear they don’t want it to disappear again.
“Remove that limited time sign,” Instagram user thecontrarianmoney commented. “We need this forever.”

What other food court items are available at Costco?
The twisted churro isn’t the only recent addition to Costco’s food court menu.
In May, Costco introduced chicken breast strips for $6.99. One order comes with five large chicken strips and a container of dipping sauce.
Food court offerings can vary by location, but Costco’s menu includes several longtime favorites, including:
- Chicken bake
- Hot dog
- Slices of cheese and pepperoni pizza
- Ice cream sundaes, with rotating flavors
- Cold brew mocha freeze
- Fruit smoothies
