The legendary European soccer star, who played internationally for Portugal, recently tied the knot, getting married to his longtime partner, Georgina Rodriguez.

In the wake of his marriage, Ronaldo announced that he is planning to retire from the game. The upcoming season will be his last one.
Ronaldo, speaking to Vogue in an interview published Sunday, said: “This is probably my last year of football, and I want to leave a spectacular legacy.”
Ronaldo has said that he has his entire future planned out. He knows what he wants to do and how he wants to spend his time after retiring from the game.
Ronaldo confirms his retirement plans to Vogue
Ronaldo has confirmed his retirement plans while speaking to Vogue.
“I have my future all mapped out,” Ronaldo added to Vogue. “I have so many things to keep me busy that to tell you just one thing is hard.
“Because football could leave a big hole, you have to fill your time in various ways, not just one. And also have more fun, travel more, watch and play padel, which I really like, and continue to enjoy what I’ve earned — what we’ve earned.
“Because after all it’s been 25 years with a lot of sacrifice.”
Ronaldo is under contract with his club, Al Nassr, until June 2027. It sounds like there won’t be any contract extensions at this point, though.
