The $3.75 Aspen Snowmass, Colorado, lift tickets honoring the resort’s 80th Anniversary that sent the internet scrambling last week are back on sale, but they likely won’t last for long.

Aspen Snowmass officially announced the tickets early Monday morning and, at the time of writing this, following a link to them on the ski resort group’s website shows that they are still available. The $3.75 tickets are available for December 14. On December 12 and December 13, $80 tickets are also available. The normal ticket price for those dates is $209.
The $3.75 tickets are good for skiing and snowboarding at all four of Aspen Snowmass’ mountains: Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and Snowmass. They match the ticket price used the day Aspen Mountain opened on December 14, 1946.
“The discounted lift tickets are limited in quantity to preserve the guest experience and respect mountain capacity—they are expected to sell out quickly,” a release from Aspen Snowmass noted.
Along with the discounted tickets, Four Mountain Sports will offer $80 premium rental packages December 12-14. Between Friday, December 11 and Monday, December 14, on-mountain restaurants will offer $19.46 food and beverage specials.
Beyond the four mountains, Limelight Aspen and Limelight Snowmass will celebrate with limited-time lodging rates for the anniversary window, including 46% off stays between December 11-14, using code 80YEARS (two-night stay minimum) at Limelight Snowmass, and 46% off stays December 13-14 (no minimum) at Limelight Aspen.
The Little Nell will also provide up to a 30% discount between December 11-14, also using code 80YEARS, no minimum stay required.

Along with the flurry of themed discounts, Aspen Snowmass plans to host additional celebrations throughout the entire 2026-27 winter season.
The re-issue of the $3.75 tickets follows a sale of them last week when, without an official announcement, they appeared online. Several Reddit posts followed before the tickets disappeared from Aspen Snowmass’ website.
“Boom! Family of 4 skiing Aspen for $11 bucks. You’re the GOAT!” said one commenter on Reddit who snapped up a bundle in time.
A spokesperson for Aspen Snowmass said in an email at the time that the $3.75 ticket sale, which “received a ton of interest,” was subject to availability and confirmed that it had been temporarily paused but hinted that it may resume.
“We need to review to ensure we are managing capacity appropriately across our mountains,” they wrote. “Safety is our top priority, so once that review period ends, and we still have room for more, we will reopen the offer.”
