If you invested in Trey McBride or Tyler Warren, you’re stoked after Week 1.
You might’ve gotten lucky with the likes of Isaiah Likely or expected too much from George Kittle.

Start ‘Em: Week 2 Fantasy TE
- Colston Loveland, Bears vs. Vikings
- Michael Mayer, Raiders at Chargers
- Jake Ferguson, Cowboys vs. Commanders
- Mark Andrews, Ravens vs. Saints
- Harold Fannin Jr., Browns at Buccaneers
- Kenyon Sadiq, Jets vs. Packers
Roll goose-egg Week 1 Loveland back out there, unless you have another elite option (no one else on this list included). Minnesota let fellow yards-after-catch monster Tucker Kraft net 65 yards off just 3 catches, and Chicago’s big three receiving options should make more noise in this more favorable secondary matchup.
If Brock Bowers (knee) must miss another game, Mayer again receives a boost; he caught 6 of 7 targets last week. The Chargers were carved up by Trey McBride in Week 1 and could wilt against the position all season.

Any snap count restriction or absence by Zay Flowers (hamstring) would add work to Andrews, who’s facing a Saints defense that allowed Sam LaPorta to see 8 targets in Week 1.
The Buccaneers allowed Mike Gesicki to stomp all over them in Week 1. Fannin should be more involved as the offense could move more freely.
The Commanders also struggled against the position in the opener, allowing Dallas Goedert to find paydirt. Ferguson came up just short of a touchdown against the Giants and stares down a much friendlier Washington secondary at home.
New York got creative with its rookie tight end in Week 1, giving Sadiq a rushing touchdown. He might wind up as the Jets’ second receiving option if Omar Cooper (ankle) misses time, and the Packers let the previously quiet T.J Hockenson score in the opening weekend.

Sit ‘Em: Week 2 Fantasy TE
- Kyle Pitts, Falcons vs. Panthers
- Travis Kelce, Chiefs vs. Colts
The Falcons already have a quarterback issue, regardless of who starts, and the Panthers will likely expend one of their elite cornerbacks to cover Pitts, a textbook Move TE who doesn’t line up with the linemen.
The Colts will look to lock down Kelce above all other receiving options on the Chiefs, maybe outside of Rashee Rice. Kelce’s best value comes in PPR leagues, and this format doesn’t flatter him as much compared to the big-play options surrounding him.
