It took only three games for the New York Giants to match their home win total from 2025.

The Giants improved to 3-0 at MetLife Stadium with their 36-24 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, a victory that pushed them into sole possession of first place in the NFC East for the first time since 2015.
New York won its second straight overall and moved within one win of its 2025 victory total (4) with 13 games remaining. The Giants will play on the road against the division-rival Commanders on Oct. 11.
The Giants Are 3-0 at Home for the First Time Since 2008
The Giants have won their first three games for the first time in 2008, a year in which they went 12-4 and were the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
But it was dicey for a while. The Giants came out flat, falling behind 14-3 in the first quarter, and were in danger of dropping their first game in front of their home fans since Dec. 21.
But quarterback Jameis Winston led the Giants back, helping them outscore the Cardinals 33-10 over the final three quarters.
“So far, we’ve been finding a way,” Winston said. “I’m so proud of our team for doing that. It’s definitely because of our fans.”

The Giants are the only team with three home victories so far this season, and the 80,893 who sat through soggy conditions at MetLife Stadium made a difference, per Winston.
“The fans are a big part of this entire organization,” Winston said. “Without their support, without their commitment to coming to the games and being loud … we love that. That’s what we do this for.”
Jameis Winston is 2-0 as the Giants’ Starting Quarterback This Season
The Giants are undefeated at home, but Winston is also undefeated as a starting quarterback this season, a year after going 0-2 in two starts for the Giants.
Winston’s wins have come in completely different fashions. He managed the game in the Giants’ 12-7 win over the Tennessee Titans. On Sunday, he looked like the gunslinger again while going 18-for-29 for 250 yards while throwing three touchdowns and two interceptions against the Cardinals.
But however he plays, Winston is satisfied as long as the Giants win.
“I’m just grateful for the opportunity I have now,” Winston said. “Right now, I get to smile and say, ‘I’m the starting QB for the New York Football Giants.’”
