The largest rock music festival on the West Coast is back for its 14th year.

Aftershock music festival at Discovery Park, 1000 Garden Highway, will play from Oct. 1-4 this year and feature more than 140 hard rock, punk, emo, heavy metal and hip hop artists.

How do I get to Aftershock?

On-site parking is not available at Aftershock, according to its website. There are paid parking options in specific lots near the venue. A single-day parking pass costs $56, while a multi-day pass is $195. Parking passes can be purchased online at Aftershock’s tixr page, but passes are limited. Parking will open at 10 a.m.

Garden Highway will be blocked to vehicle traffic. The route is designated for guests arriving via shuttle. Described as the “most convenient option” to arrive at the festival, passes are available for purchase online at Aftershock.frontgratetickets.com. A parking pass for the whole festival costs $160. For Thursday and Friday, a pass can be purchased for $60. Saturday and Sunday passes are cheaper, selling for $54. Shuttles will operate an hour before gates open and run every 75 minutes at the end of each festival night.

The two entrances to Aftershock will be at Truxel Road and Mill Creek Drive and West El Camino Ave. and Natomas Park Drive.

If you’re taking an Uber, Lyft or other rideshare option, pick-up and drop off will be at the Main Festival Rideshare Zone at Jibbom St., which is in the south area of Discovery Park and nearby Jibbom Bridge. Aftershock advises ticket holders to exit the venue grounds on Jibbom St., cross the bridge, and follow the I-5 bike path to the left. The zone for rideshare pick-up and drop-off will be on the right next to 500 Bercut Drive.

What can’t I bring to Aftershock?

Aftershock has specific rules of what its guests, can and cannot bring, according to its website.

The following items are not allowed at Aftershock:

• Pets, except for service animals aligned with the venue’s accessibility policy
