WWE SummerSlam looks different in 2026 than it has in years past, and many fans are wondering if they need to change TV providers to watch WWE’s biggest event of the summer.

The good news is that, for most fans, the answer is no.
Whether you subscribe to YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, Fubo, DirecTV, DISH, Verizon Fios, Xfinity, Spectrum, Cox, Optimum, or another participating television provider, you can use your existing credentials to activate ESPN Unlimited and stream SummerSlam without signing up for a separate standalone subscription.
With the NFL season still weeks away and the World Cup complete, WWE has enjoyed an unusually prominent place in ESPN’s daily lineup heading into SummerSlam.

What Time Does SummerSlam Start?
Both nights of WWE SummerSlam begin with the SummerSlam Kickoff Show at 3 p.m. ET, streaming free on WWE’s YouTube channel and ESPN’s digital platforms. The pre-show will feature match analysis, interviews and the latest news leading into the event.
The main SummerSlam broadcast begins later that evening on ESPN Unlimited, with ESPN also simulcasting the first hour of both nights on its linear television network. Each night’s main card is expected to run approximately three hours.
SummerSlam will also make history on the audio side. For the first time, a WWE Premium Live Event will be simulcast on WWE Radio on SiriusXM, with Vic Joseph and Booker T providing live commentary, giving fans another way to follow WWE’s biggest event of the summer.
