Four people were arrested after authorities said they worked together to steal about $4,322 in merchandise from three Sacramento County retail stores.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post Wednesday that deputies located and detained the group after obtaining a description of the suspects’ vehicle following the robbery May 22.
The suspects, two 18-year-old women and two juvenile girls ages 17 and 16, allegedly entered two Bath & Body Works stores and one Ulta location, selected large quantities of merchandise, loaded the items into store-provided totes and bags, and left without paying, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Loss prevention employees positively identified all four suspects during a field show-up, authorities said.

On May 22, 2026, four suspects, 18-year-old Ijanae McClendon, 18-year-old Saniya Douglas, a 17-year-old female, and a 16-year-old female, committed coordinated thefts at two Bath & Body Works locations and one Ulta store in Sacramento County.

The two adults — Ijanae McClendon and Saniya Douglas, both 18 — were booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail, while the 16- and 17-year-olds were booked into the Sacramento County Juvenile Detention Center.
All four face allegations of grand theft, conspiracy and organized retail theft.
McClendon and Douglas were arraigned Tuesday in Sacramento Superior Court and released on bail, according to jail records.
