Bacio will operate on 720 K Street in The Hardin across from Downtown Commons, according to videos from the business’s social media page. Bacio will host parties and community events, including speakeasies, wine and beer tasting, birthdays and art shows.
Bacio’s first floor will be designated for more casual events, including pop-up markets, while downstairs will be reserved for private events, a video Bacio shared on social media revealed. The space is around 2,659 square feet, according to The Sacramento Business Journal. Ware said she hopes to hold Bacio’s grand opening in July.
The business is owned by Annie Ware, who was born and raised in Sacramento. She said online that the name, Bacio, means “kiss” in Italian. The event space is replacing Bailarin Cellars Winery, which closed in March 2025.
