A man suspected of stabbing another man at a West Sacramento apartment complex Wednesday night is in Yolo County custody, said West Sacramento police.

West Sacramento officers were called around 8:35 p.m. to the apartment complex in the 3400 block of Savannah Lane to find a man was a stab wound to the chest. Officers tended to the man until emergency responders arrived to take him to the hospital. The man is expected to survive the attack, police said.

Officers found the man’s suspected attacker at the scene and took him into custody without incident where he was to be booked into Yolo County Jail on charges connected to the attack.
