Off-price department store Marshalls is opening Thursday in Elk Grove.
Located at 7420 Elk Grove Blvd. in The Ridge shopping center, the store will open at 8 a.m. on Oct. 8 and will have an extended closing hour of 10 p.m. on Thursday.

The store sells budget-priced men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, beauty supplies, handbags and other accessories including labels from Calvin Klein, House of Harlow and Eli Tahari. The store also sells housewares.
Marshalls fills 26,000 square feet of space, according to and is the ninth location in the Sacramento area.

After its grand opening, the Elk Grove Marshalls will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.
