Paige Spiranac might be a popular content creator on social media, with millions of followers across platforms, but even she isn’t immune from getting accused of using artificial intelligence with her photos.

The popular golf creator shared a stunning Fourth of July swimsuit photo on social media. The complete photo quickly went viral on social media. The photo, which featured Spiranac rocking a red, white and blue swimsuit, received close to 60,000 likes.
But Spiranac faced accusations of using an AI-created background to help boost her America-themed photo.
“Paige you’re better than AI!” one critic stated.
Spiranac certainly wouldn’t be the first creator to use AI. ESPN, after all, got accused of using AI with some NBA Finals graphics. The Worldwide Leader in Sports quickly faced criticism and promised to consider avoiding them moving forward.
However, Spiranac has made it clear – the photo she posted was not made with AI, in any way.

“Not AI. This image was from my 2026 calendar. We shot it in studio and then a graphic designer made the background,” she admitted on social media.
Spiranac’s fans praise her for not using AI
Spiranac’s fans are happy to hear that she’s choosing to not use AI when it comes to her content creation.
“Forgive me!! You look spectacular!!!!” one wrote.
“It’s a great calendar!!!!” one fan added.
“This is Amazing! Love it! Happy 250th America,” another fan wrote.
The debates surrounding AI use in media and creative fields is ongoing. However, Spiranac appears to have made it clear where she stands. For now, she’s choosing not to use it, at least when it comes to her public photos.
It’ll be interesting to see where the content creation industry goes from here, as the uses of AI are likely only going to increase.
