A Sacramento player hit a combined $662,522 progressive jackpot while playing Light & Wonder’s Ultimate Texas Hold’em poker at Sky River Casino in Elk Grove.

The win came July 36 after the player was dealt a royal flush on the flop, one of the most coveted hands in poker, the casino said.
The player hit the $654,447 jackpot along with an additional $8,075 through the game’s base wagers,
“Our recent winner experienced the kind of hand that every poker player dreams about,” said Michael J. Facenda, president and general manager of Sky River Casino. He called it an “extraordinary hand” and “an unforgettable moment.”
On June 18, an Elk Grove player won a $326,389 progressive jackpot on Light & Wonder’s I Luv Suits Poker at the casino, plus $15,000 on a $15 Super Flush Rush side bet.
“It’s wonderful when everything comes together at just the right moment, and we have had many of those days,” Facenda said. “It’s an incredible outcome, and we’re excited to share in this special moment with our winner.”

The casino, which opened in 2022, spans 100,000 square feet with more than 2,500 slot machines and more than 80 table games. It has 18 restaurants and bars.
Owned by the Wilton Rancheria in partnership with Boyd Gaming Corporation, the casino is located at 1 Sky River Parkway in Elk Grove, about a 15-mile drive southeast from downtown Sacramento.
